ProntoMan Spray is a ready-to-use, aqueous solution for antiseptic cleansing of the skin and nail areas.
Thanks to the reduced surface tension and spray application, ProntoMan® Spray decontaminates any difficult-to-reach areas reliably and painlessly. Any risk of infections like multiresistant bacteria (MRSA) or mycotic pathogens are eliminated safely. At the same time ProntoMan® Spray gently softens keratinization and keeps foot and wound odour to a minimum. It also makes atraumatic, safe and quick podiatry treatment possible.
In the case of injuries to the skin, ProntoMan Spray can be used to prevent infection and help the healing process.
The ingredients have been used successfully in clinical practice millions of times over, are safe for dermatological use and are considered the means of first choice in treatment of wounds*. ProntoMan® Spray does not inhibit granulation and epithelialization, does not demonstrate any cytotoxic, inflammatory, irritating or sensitising properties and can be used safely over long periods of time.
In addition ProntoMan Spray provides protection from multiresistant (MRSA) and mycotic pathogens and is tolerated well by diabetics and those suffering from allergies.

Decontamination of skin:
Prior to each treatment spray the patient’s feet generously with ProntoMan® Spray. Allow the solution to take effect for at least 2 minutes. The polyhexanide betaine complex contained in the ingredients decontaminates even areas that are hard to reach, creates an almost sterile skin environment and simultaneously eliminates unpleasant odours. Dispersion of pathogenic, transient and resident bacteria is thus prevented. This helps minimize the risk of infection in any wounds that may occur.
Softening of keratinized skin:
Spray the patient’s feet generously with ProntoMan® Spray. Allow the solution to take effect on the skin until the dead cells in the keratinized skin form whitish scale. In the case of major keratinization (e.g. in the heel area) it will be necessary to keep the area being treated moistened for a longer time. If necessary, spray again. Then the softened skin cells can be removed atraumatically, e.g. with an excavator. It is possible to accelerate the softening effect by wrapping the sprayed area (e.g. heel) in foil. Decontamination of the skin and softening of keratinization take place in a single step in this case, saving time and material.
Prevention of infection:
In the event of increased risk of infection, such as for example after going to the swimming pool or sauna, spray dry feet with ProntoMan® Spray. Take special care that the skin between the toes is similarly moistened. After allowing to take effect for 2 minutes dry your feet with a clean towel or allow them to dry in the air. This will prevent foot infection or nail fungus.
Safety notes:
Do not use ProntoMan® Spray at the same time as soap, ointments, oils or gels. May not be used on persons who are allergic to one of the ingredients. Seal bottle after use and protect from exposure to direct sunlight. Use within 12 weeks of opening. For external use only, do not swallow.
